Portrait of shedux

I'm shedux. I build software for Minecraft communities.

I'm a freelance full stack developer with over a decade of experience, most of it in gaming and server management. I write web apps, Minecraft plugins and the infrastructure that keeps a network online.

I like taking a messy idea and turning it into something that runs. That can mean tuning a server that lags at peak hours, building a custom web app for a community, or writing a plugin with rules nobody has shipped before. Every project gets the same care for performance and security.

Right now

  • Foudre Industries · CEO & Lead Developer

A studio I founded for Minecraft builds, custom plugins, web development and Discord bots, made to fit each client.

    2021 – present

  • BedWars Center · CEO & Server Architect

A competitive BedWars server I designed and run, with a custom anti-cheat, lag-free gameplay and transparent operations.

How I work

  1. Start with the use case

We talk about what your players or customers need before we talk about tools. The stack follows the problem.

  2. Keep the code simple

Clean architecture, small pieces and code that can be tested. Simple code is cheaper to debug, extend and hand over.

  3. Measure performance

Fast load times, low latency and careful resource use, with realistic baselines so we both know what good looks like. This matters most on busy game servers.

  4. Document and hand over

Decisions get written down and you get a clean handover, so the project stays maintainable long after launch.

Tell me what you want to build, whether that is a server, a plugin or a site. I usually reply within 24 to 48 hours.
