How to Install Java (Adoptium)

This guide explains how to install Java using Adoptium (Eclipse Temurin) in simple steps. Follow the instructions carefully.

Step 1: Open Adoptium's Official Website

Open your browser and visit:
https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/

Step 2: Select the Correct Version

Do this:
1. Find the "Latest LTS" version (e.g., Java 21/17/11).
2. Click the JDK button (JDK = Developer Kit).

Step 3: Choose Your Operating System

From the dropdown menu, select:
✅ Windows (.msi/.exe)
✅ macOS (.pkg)
✅ Linux (.deb/.rpm)

Step 4: Run the Installer

1. Double-click the downloaded file.
2. Click "Next" and follow the prompts.
3. Do NOT change default settings (for beginners).
